Recycling A Festival Identity

Since 1971, Roskilde Festival has not only defined both the Scandinavian and European music festival scene, but also set the pace and agenda for non-profit, charity-driven cultural events. Naturally, sustainable festival initiatives and solutions are an integral part of Roskilde Festival’s DNA - the point of departure for fireball’s development of the 2019 festival identity. Waste management and recycling is high on the Festival agenda and the creative idea was simple: why not sew pieces of left behind camping tents together and recycle them into signage and posters?
